Regional Events 2023

Regional stakeholder workshops 2023

Our 2023 annual stakeholder regional workshops took place in November, in partnership with our region's respective county councils, exploring the opportunities and process around regional strategic planning for electricity and the connections journey.

The events encouraged collaborative strategic understanding by providing the information and support we all need from each other on our journey to a connected network including:

  • New low carbon technologies and the connections required
  • New strategic investments for the region
  • Decarbonisation plans
  • How these align with Electricity North West’s Distribution Future Electricity Scenarios (DFES)

Capture reports

The capture reports are a review and analysis of each event and the insights discovered, along with an all-encompassing combined capture report.

Regional investment booklets RIIO-ED2

Our overhead lines, underground cables and substations bring power to 5 million people in 2.4 million homes and businesses. We invest millions of pounds in the region focusing on key areas of safety, reliability, customer service and enabling net zero. These documents highlight our work across the region and aim to explain the local network and our performance in your area.

Each booklet details our intended investment in the region through RII0-ED2 which runs between 2023 and 2028. All information is correct as of July 2023.
