Our support for local authorities
Our aim is to be the strategic interface between local and regional government bodies and to support and facilitate the development of local, regional and national energy plans that are aligned with our future network development plans.
Some of the services we provide include:
- Support for the development of local area energy plans (LAEPs) for each of the 31 local authorities we serve
- Training for local authority colleagues to support the development of LAEPs
- A range of self-service data tools via our data portal to aid understanding of the complex energy network.
