Primary Education

Primary Education

Our offer for primary school pupils is centred around the delivery of in-school ‘Switched On’ electricity workshops and also includes online lessons and a fun, interactive electricity safety game – Safety Squad.

Our education priorities focus on increasing STEM education in the North West of England, ensuring young people are aware of the dangers of electricity and know how to stay safe around it, while also addressing information about the type of careers available in the electricity industry.

Switched On! Workshops

We’ve teamed up with education outreach experts, STEMFirst, to offer engaging classroom-based workshops to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. The sessions have been designed to support KS2 learnings around electricity and empower pupils to become confident, creative thinkers and problem solvers.
