Mental wellbeing

We all have mental health, just as we have physical health and your mental health is vitally important to us at Electricity North West. Mental wellbeing is the ability to cope with the day to day stresses of life, work productively, interact positively with others and realise our own potential.

Here at Electricity North West we believe we can make a difference to the lives of those we work with and their families and friends by making a change in the way we as a company, and as individuals, approach mental wellbeing. Click on the images for helpful tips on our quarterly focuses.

Our Vision

Our wellbeing purpose is for you to go home tonight as healthy and as happy as you were when you arrived this morning, if not better

We’re recognised supporters of Mates In Mind

Mates In Mind is a charity organition established by the Health in Construction Leadership Group (HCLG). Their aim is to provide clear information to employers on available guidance on mental health, mental illness and mental wellbeing, and how they can address this within their organisations.

As part of our ongoing commitment to raise awareness of mental health and reduce the stigma attached, we are working with mates in mind in order to:

  • Raising awareness and understanding of mental health and mental ill-health.
  • Helping people to understand how, when and where to get support.
  • Breaking the silence and stigma through promoting cultures of positive wellbeing throughout the industry.
