Hello, I’m Stephanie Trubshaw, Chief Operating Officer at SP Electricity North West.

I started my career as a PA and now lead one of the UK’s most innovative power networks. Our success is powered by incredible people, and right now, it’s an exciting time to be in utilities.

Our industry is changing and we're becoming more inclusive, with more opportunities available to everyone. I’m proud to work alongside so many inspiring men and women, many of whom are in senior roles within our business.

Since joining in 2008, I’ve driven improvements in connections and redefined our customer service offering. In 2025, I stepped into the COO role and couldn’t have been prouder to lead an ambitious organisation with a passionate workforce.

No two days are the same—one day I’m chairing a board meeting, the next I’m speaking at our Women Empowered event about imposter syndrome! It’s varied, dynamic, and full of opportunity.

Behind the scenes of our operations to deliver a safe and reliable electricity supply for our customers across the North West, are lots of other teams making sure that can happen. From customer service colleagues, cyber security, finance and communications, we all come together to deliver for our customers.
