Electricity North West Construction and Maintenance Limited (ENWCML), is a high voltage contracting business based in Walkden, near Manchester. The business employs multi-skilled craftsmen, project managers; senior authorised engineers, bid/design engineers, sales engineers and technical support staff.

We provide Control, Operation and Maintenance Agreements for over 750 of the region’s private network owners. In addition, the team also provides design, installation and commissioning services for high voltage supplies and private networks. Projects undertaken encompass anything from simple transformer changes and modifications up to multimillion-pound infrastructure renewal projects.   

Manchester Airport, Sellafield limited, Next, BBC, The University of Manchester, BAe Systems, Mirror News Group, Astra Zeneca and Unilever are just some of the blue chip, high electricity user clients within our contract portfolio.

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 requires owners of electricity network assets to demonstrate that they have safe systems of work and robust operational controls in place; a control, operation and maintenance contract with ENWCML ensures our clients fully meet these legal obligations and also affords additional peace of mind by providing 24/7/365 emergency response.
