Energy Network Innovation Conference 2020

Energy Networks Innovation Conference 2020

The interactive virtual Energy Networks Innovation Conference was held on 8-9 December 2020.

The Energy Networks Innovation Conference, previously the Low Carbon Networks Innovation Conference, is the UK's flagship dissemination event for the electricity and gas network operators. This conference is managed by Energy Networks Association and was held in a virtual format this year.

Please find video updates from three of our projects featured at this year's conference.

Sentinel will trial two new fault location techniques on overhead networks. By developing novel fault location sensors which enable earlier detection and response to broken or damaged conductors, this project will improve the quality of supply for customers who experience weather-related outages and improve the safety of the electricity distribution system.
