Heat networks

Heat networks

Overview:

We help in developing and implementing low carbon heat network projects using various technologies. These may involve schemes led by heat pumps, upgrading waste/industrial heat with heat pumps, ambient loops integrated with building-level heat pumps, and more. Additionally, we extend support in securing external funding, including access to the Government’s Green Heat Networks Fund and Heat Network Efficiency Scheme.

How we can help:

Our specialised team collaborates with you to assess the network infrastructure at your planned project site for low carbon heat networks.  If alterations to the network are required, we meticulously plan these adjustments and determine the responsible parties for related expenses.  We strive to cover costs whenever feasible, in line with changes introduced by Ofgem in April 2023 through the ‘Access Significant Code Review’, to reduce the cost of connecting low carbon technologies., aimed at reducing the expenses associated with connecting low carbon technologies. Moreover, our team assists in the formal approval process required to connect to our network, if deemed necessary.
