Unmetered

As a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for the North West, we also provide an unmetered connection service.

You are welcome to use this service as long as your supply is:

• less than 500 watts.
• not constant or unpredictable.

Metered connection

If your supply exceeds 500 watts, you will need to apply for a metered connection.

• Quotation

  The documents shown below are guidance for completing and application form and associated required plans using this information will prevent any delays in providing you with a quotation.

  If you are emailing this information to Streetlighting@enwl.co.uk please be aware you will receive an email receipt of confirmation the application has been received.

  Please complete our new online application service, if you are a repeat user you can create an account to manage your applications.

  If the information is not complete you application will not be processed and we will contact you for the missing information.

  Your Quotation will be produced within 25 working days from the receipt of all the correct information.

  Following an acceptance of a quotation we will connect your street lights as agreed with the customer. Our service level is 25 working days from acceptance if your site is ready.

  Please ensure the site specification is correct installing red ducting as per the quotation pack that will be posted to you.

• Rent a Jointer

  Our rent a jointer scheme allows a customer to use Electricity North West Jointing resource on a pre arranged regular basis.

• Tripartite Agreement

  Our tripartite agreement is to enable a Local Authority to use a third party Independent Connections Provider to carry out their disconnections and transfers.

• Local Authority

  Local Authorities due to the regular volume of work processed do not need to apply for a quotation; there is a call off process in place which can be found below.

  There is a guaranteed standard to complete all works within a order of less than 100 cols within 35 days of the full site being ready.

• GSoP

  The Guaranteed Standards of Performance were implemented in October 2010 by OFGEM for all Electricity Distribution Network Owners.

  For a single phase connection the following Standards apply:-
