12/02/14: Severe weather update 21:00

We are working hard to restore supplies to approximately 10,000 customers across the region and have already restored several thousand since the severe weather began late this afternoon.

Unfortunately the wind speed, which is up to 100mph in some areas, is hampering some restoration efforts. We expect the severe weather to continue through the evening across the region moving North.

Supplies may not be restored this evening due to the severity of the weather; however we have engineers ready to continue repairs from first light on Thursday.
