21/06/12: New customer director appointed

Electricity North West has strengthened its customer care team with the appointment of new customer director, Susan Stockwell.

Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with more than 10 years of experience in customer service. She joins the company from Morrison Facility Services, where she held the position of director of corporate social responsibility, which included overseeing customer engagement.

Susan’s role has been created as part of Electricity North West’s commitment to putting its customers first. Her responsibilities will include developing a strategy that ensures customers are regularly consulted about the services they receive, how they are delivered and what they should cost.

Chief executive at Electricity North West, Steve Johnson, said: “Our customers are at the core of everything we do and it is our aim to ensure they are receiving an exceptional service from us and know how to reach us if they need to.

“Susan’s appointment is recognition of the importance we place on our customers and her strong background in customer services complements our existing team. We are delighted to welcome her to the company.”

Susan said: “Electricity North West is a forward-thinking business and I look forward to working with the team and supporting the fantastic work the company is already doing to get closer to its customers.

“Our aim is to develop a customer strategy that is innovative and creative, communicating with and listening to our customers via the most appropriate channels and delivering a service we are proud of.”

Electricity North West owns, operates and maintains the North West’s electricity distribution network, connecting 2.4 million properties, and more than 5 million people in the region to the National Grid.
