About C2C

The electricity network is designed to keep the lights on when things go wrong and allow us to re-route power around faults. This means that for most of the time, we only use half of our total capacity with half reserved for emergency use. By reconfiguring the network and working smarter, we can release this extra emergency capacity to be used in your homes and businesses every day.

To deliver the C2C project we will be working with a number of key partners. We selected our partners based on the strength of their existing relationships with relevant segments of customers and their strong credentials in the area of customer engagement and approach to customer relations.

This section contains a number of documents which provide detailed background information on the C2C project including our project submission to our regulator, Ofgem, and our approach to customer engagement.
