Where do Electricity North West operate?
Electricity North West owns, operates and maintains the North West’s electricity distribution network, connecting 2.4 million properties, and more than 5 million people in the region to the National Grid.
Our network covers a diverse range of terrain, from isolated farms in rural areas, to areas of heavy industry and urban populations. We operate in Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and parts of North Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire.
The map below gives a visual representation of the area we cover, the black line denotes our outside boundaries. Click on the map to view full size image.

In some locations, the 33kV and 132kV electricity distribution network is connected to other (adjacent) electricity distribution and transmission company networks.
Schematic diagrams show where these are indicated and are available in the detailed information section where a password required.
