Dan Randles - Engineering strategy manager
Dan graduated in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He has a diploma in engineering management and is a chartered member of the IET. He completed graduate training with Reyrolle (formerly Rolls Royce Industrial Power) before joining National Grid as a power systems engineer in 1999. In 2003 he joined Electricity North West (formerly United Utilities) as a planning engineer. He has since worked as systems development manager, transmission maintenance manager, quality of supply and technical development manager and most recently as network performance and innovation manager.
Dan is currently responsible for the development and implementation of the company's network innovation strategy, network performance development and management of company policy, standards and technical specifications. He is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a range of large-scale innovation and research and development projects. He also sits on the ENA’s R&D managers group.
