Long term development statement

This statement is the 2009 annual revision of the long term development statement and has been prepared in accordance with standard licence condition 25 of the electricity distribution licence of Electricity North West Limited. The statement is divided into two main sections:

• An overview which describes the information which is contained within the full statement in order to enable potential users to decide if the full statement would be of use to them. This part of the statement is published with unrestricted access on this website.
• A detailed information section. To gain access to this a user name and password is required, if you do not already have a user name and password you can apply for one at the login screen.

Customers receive their electricity bill from supply companies who pay Electricity North West for use of the electricity distribution network.

About this statement

The information contained in this statement is provided for the sole purpose of allowing existing and potential customers to make an initial assessment of the capabilities of the electricity network and opportunities for changes in their use of the network or for connecting to it. While all reasonable effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information, Electricity North West will accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by the information not being accurate. Actual changes in supply capacity for existing customers or new connections are subject to detailed assessment, approval and payment of appropriate charges.
